Message for Pete Kirby, just in case you don't see Tony with his Savusavu yacht club cap on, you will recognise him by the large cloud of discontent that follows him around. I will be there by 8am, & will talk as long as I feel the need.

Martin Downes,
In August 2004 I inspected a bridge in Potugal built by Eiffel (the Paris tower engineer) I would have closed it to rail traffic and impossed a 13.5 ton limit (fire engines etc.) but as I havent heard that its fallen down my judgement must be out, see under report section. Please give my regards to Mike and hope he is now completely recovered, he and Gareth were my main reason for leaving early and I am still improving in health and strength. Office work is not what the likes of us were designed for.

Hi Tony,
Very sensible to wait for the cyclone season to pass. We've just heard all about Claire on the news. I wouldn't fancy being in that!
As for what brings us there... we've decided to come and live here (Perth) for a couple of years. By the time we leave, it'll be *almost* as long as you've been at sea! I guess you don't get much time to surf (the electronic variety), but if you do, check out www.morgansdownunder.blogspot.com. To leave a comment you'll need the username 'morgancomment' and password 'morgan'.
Hi Tony,
Hope you are well, inspected any good Bridges lately. I spoke to Mike W at Christmas who mentioned that you had sold the plane and set off on your trip.
Good Luck and Best Wishes.

What takes you to Aus? I am waiting for the Cyclone season to end and doing work to bring Cariad up to a good enough standard to get around the Cape of Good Hope. My route is given in the progress report section. I'm going north of Aus via Darwin.
Trust you are keeping busy.
Sue and Doug
Hope you are all well and wising you a very happy new year.
Ben

Thanks for the message, post to here is very slow. I hope to get back to Ross for February so may get to see you. Your cards are very well recieved and look better than 99% of the other boats cards, that blue background is just perfect as it sujests blue water (deep ocean) cruising.
Peter Kirby
You should have texted the phone is never taken off the boat so mostly I recieve messages that way. Sorry to hear about Ray Hanna, only met him once, his ledgend will live on for a very long time. I trust there is to be a memorial flight of Spitfires for him? it should be impressive. Could he be the last of the few to fly a Spit. Gilbert is this a question you can answere or are you too busy trying to fix Mr Bianci's Mark IXX.
Tony
Hi Tony, thanks for the email. Glad you are okay. Tried to phone you Xmas Day, our Xmas Eve. Expect you were living it up partying. Sounds a good place to be. We went to the "Till". Usual eight at the table. All send their love and wish you a happy and safe New Year.
Heard Ray Hanna has passed away. Sad news. No more 20'0" up the pit straight at Goodwood!!
Looking forward to Feb. Pity your date just misses a good jazz evening at Upton. Take care. All the best.
Love, Gill, Porgy, Bess, Jack, Josh and me.
Hi Tony,
There was me thinking you are on a trouble free fun holiday but as they say everything has its costs.
Keep up the good work - your new business cards are on their way and should be with you in the next 7-10 days.
Best wishes from us all.
Regards
Brian
Tony,
I seem to have mislaid Christmas somewhere, but a very happy new year to you.
Ben
missed a good night at the local!!! happy new year hope to see you soon god bless xx louise send her love
Happy new year Tony!
4 months in Fiji. Either that's some holiday, or the boat needed lots of work doing to it. Were you waiting for the appropriate weather conditions?
Whereabouts in Australia are you going to be heading, and when are you likely to be there? I saw a tall-ship under full sail off Fremantle today, and thought of you. I have to say the tall-ship looked a little more roomy than Cariad!
Be lucky.

You missed Todd as he is here in Savusavu and has recruted Katty (from peace corp) to crew him to Koro where he may stay until April.
The social life here is getting quite good though the new night club by the Bula Ray is not up to much.
Watui has openned a cafe, but Copra Shed has started to impose a sort of dress code which is being applied to locals but not to Yachties so the Yachties are moving to Watui in solidarity with the locals.
See you when you get back.
Tony
